However, I hope you realize that both “whiteness” and “blackness” are contrived social, political, cultural and especially economic— not biological or even genetic — constructs. May I suggest you take a look — a deep look — at a 2010 book by Princeton professor emerita Nell Painter entitled “The History of White People”?
