You sound like Trump with his claim to be “the least racist person” in the world. White racism/white supremacy are not measured on a scale of one-to-ten. There are no “degrees” of racism.

Also, you need to know that you are dealing with a Viet Nam veteran who did five, count ’em, five tours in-country. Courtesy of the US Navy. Over the course of four years, I traveled to Viet Nam, Okinawa, Yokosuka, Japan, Bangkok, the Philippines, Singapore, Guam, Acapulco, Sydney, Australia, etc., etc….get the picture?

You are right, tho. Many Asians are just as racist (to use your scale) as the worst American racists. Why is that? Are black people just “naturally” hated worldwide?

My father and uncle used to tell stories about their time in Japan during WWII. They noted that Japanese women would often ask to see their “tails” before they got “busy.” See, white American soldiers had been telling the Japanese that blacks were really monkeys…complete with tails.

Finally, yeah…you’re right again. There is a generalized hatred of Africans and black people worldwide — because Europeans and Euro-Americans via colonialism, imperialism, neo-colonialism, neo-imperialism, slavery, theft, rape, robbery and outright genocide — all have poisoned the minds of people who would otherwise be our friends and allies.

Also, racism really has little to do with a person’s skin color or ethnicity once they put on that blue cop uniform. It’s the culture, the history, the system which demands that they treat black people as less than human. Some of the worst offenders in this regard are black cops. Life is not just black and white.

BTW, how much time have you spent in the “Orient”?
