Yep....Michael Harriot over at The Grio puts it nicely. (In paraphrase): It's not "Black" History that white people object to or fear, but white history -- their history. They don't want their kids (or anyone else, for that matter) to really know and understand their history of wholesale rape, robbery, murder, theft of whole continents, slavery, colonialism, imperialism, neo-colonialism, and outright genocide of whole peoples.
