As you may know, I’ve traveled throughout Africa, and you are right…despite its many, many, often intractable, “problems” and “issues,” mass, self-inflicted genocide ain’t one of ’em. Sure naysayers will point to the one recent exception in Rwanda of the 1990s, but that is just that — the rare exception.
