You are absolutely right: European and Euro-American colonialism/imperialism never really ended. It just morphed and evolved into a "modern" neo-colonialism, neo-imperialism. Israel is the tip of the spear for this now 600-year-old project of European theft, murder, genocide, rape, and plunder of the global South's peoples and their natural resources. If and when any of the indigenes object, even peaceably, they are given the Native Americans' (and now Palestinians') "treatment."
