Without mentioning his or her name you have perfectly, succinctly, described the current (and historical) state of presidential politics. Here's but one telling example: Trump now refuses to do a second debate with VP Harris because he knows he cannot "win" when faced with a such a formidable candidate.

As Rep. Jasmine Crockett put it just yesterday: In paraphrase -- Trump, like all mediocre white males, is afraid to face honest and open competition from "qualified" opponents, whether they are "of color," female -- or both -- because their mediocrity will be exposed.
