White Privilege in the Raw: Kyle Rittenhouse Judge Puts Thumb on ‘Scale of Justice’
Kenosha (Wisconsin) County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Schroeder is “presiding” over the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, the white Illinois teenager who armed himself with an AR-15 rifle, crossed the Illinois-Wisconsin borderline, and proceeded to kill two and grievously injure one peaceful protester. These three men, these victims of a “conservative” white male teenager, were protesting against Kenosha’s modern-day slave patrolling killer-cops’ attempted murder of a demonstrably (videotaped) innocent, black and victimized 29-year-old Kenosha resident Jacob Blake.
That’s right. Just this week, from his high perch, Judge Schroeder proclaimed that, as a matter of course and history, Rittenhouse’s attorneys may refer to the men Rittenhouse has admitted killing as “rioters,” “arsonists” and “looters” — but certainly not as “victims.”
Specifically, this supposedly “impartial” judge said: “He [Rittenhouse’s attorney] can demonize them if he wants…if he thinks it will win points with the jury,” Schroeder said, according to The Chicago Tribune.
Incredibly, though, the two dead men and the man whose right arm was not quite completely shot off by Rittenhouse….well, they cannot be referred to as “victims” before the jury.
