What you've described here is the construction and maintenance of America's racial hierarchy or racial pyramid -- with self-described so-called European-derived "white" people always at the pinnacle of the hierarchy or pyramid.

"Whiteness," white supremacy and their operative tool white racism, have also been a global phenomenon. It's more than a coincidence that both the racist Dutch-descended Afrikaners of South Africa modeled their racist apartheid society on America's Ole Jim Crow "system." As did the Nazis of Germany. Interestingly, the Afrikaners also instituted an official, social and political and economic status that they called "Honorary White" and which was reserved for and bestowed upon those few "good" black Africans whom they favored.
