This is true...to a point. It's also true that had Obama done what he promised to do, had he not so quickly and readily and so often "compromised" with the Republicans, had he done at least as much for black people as he did for gays and white women...then, yes, Trump never would have had a chance. Indeed, he probably would not have even run.
