This is the real "issue." To totally disavow white supremacy, to condemn white racism, white supremacy, white nationalism, and, yes, "Christian nationalism," means that (logically) they ("moderate" to "liberal" to "progressive" whites) would have to also condemn, reject (and cast out) many, if not most, of their own best friends, favorite relatives, and co-workers. And in many cases, maybe even themselves.
