This is a key point. If white people recognize/acknowledge that they (as a group) STILL benefit from the never-ending dehumanization of black people, then the logical next question is, "Well, what are you gonna do about it? What benefit(s) are you willing to forgo to make black people whole?"

And, that just is not going to happen anytime soon. White people have no history of redressing or even addressing the myriad wrongs they have committed against every single darker-skinned group whenever and wherever they have "encountered" them -- especially black people.
