There are and always have been "conscious" white people in this country. There always have been righteous and moral white people, too.

The problem is, tho, as you point out, these people have never constituted the majority of white people. That majority knows damn well that they benefit from white supremacy/white privilege...and they intend to keep doing so until other, more powerful, white people make them stop.

That's right. This issue will not be "solved" by black people, brown people, red people or yellow people. Only people who think they are white can end white supremacy/white racism.
