Another equally obvious example of white folks' lack of concern for anybody but themselves is the so-called "opioid crisis." Black and brown people have been begging and pleading with the "white power structure" for decade after decade to stop punishing drug addicts and low-level dealers, and provide treatment instead; to treat drug addiction as a public health issue and not as a criminal matter.

They only started listening (and changing) when "opioids" began to destroy them and their families.
