Yeah, you're right. Minuscule "improvements" have been made in select areas. Hell, just last week, Heavyfoot has approved extension of the El train to the southern city limits -- after 50 years of promises by white mayors and white-dominated city councils, all the while up north the CTA will take you all the way to Skokie.

I could go on. But I get a distinct sense that it would be a waste of time and energy.
