Slim to thin to anorexic women is a relatively "Western" concept and forced standard for "beauty" i -- a "white" male's idea and ideal. Same thing with making/forcing women to wear high heels which eventually ruins their feet.

In most parts of West Africa, it is just the opposite. Big, tall, "plump" women are considered the most desirable, the most "beautiful."

In human evolution terms, ask yourself why virtually all fertility carvings and sculptures of women are big-boned, big-hipped, big-breasted women, going all the way back to the Cro-Mags, Neanderthals, and H. Erectus -- hundred of thousands, if not millions, years ago.
