Not quite. Obama had more death threats leveled against him than all 43 of his predecessors combined. We only know of a few actual failed attempts that were publicized. I’ve read that there were dozens of other actual attempts that were covered up — at his and “law enforcement’s” request.

Secondly, any person who seeks to “fundamentally transform” American society (as Obama said he wished to do) knows the history of assassination of political leaders in this country….beginning with Lincoln who supposedly “freed” the slaves right straight through to Dr. King. And, as King himself said, (in paraphrase): “If you’re not willing to die for something, then life is not worth living.” Obviously I agree with you, though. When it came down to black people, Obama was all style and no substance.
