I thought about included Jordan's recent "Last Dance" exztravganza in this piece, especially the fact that the world's best three-point shooter and truly conscious black Bulls player then (now he'd be called "woke") was also on those championship teams, and who showed up at the White-y House in full African garb. But, I demurred...because black folx like Jordan need encouragement. They (Oprah, Mike, JayZee, Beyonce, all the rich rappers, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, etc., etc.) must come together and end this shit.

Yeah, I also understand that for MJ, $10 million a year is "chump change." But it's a start, an acknowledgement...an awakening.
