When I was in the Navy and in Vietnam 25 years later....I experienced the exact same thing up-close-and-personl -- in Yokuska, Osebo, etc. Japan. In DaNang, Vietnam, Olongopo City, Phillipines, Bankok, Thailand, Okinawa, Singapore, etc., etc.

Oh...you also ask whether white people would prioritize white-over-black in a crisis in this country. Well...speaking of WWII, remember that the "government" (white people) locked up 120,000 Japanese-Americans (as suspected spies) for the duration of the war (from '41 to '46) in concentration camps.

But they did not lock up German-Americans. They even treated German POWs (their sworn enemies) like kinfolk rather than as enemies.

Watch what’s about to happen as these white Ukrainian refugees start arriving here: They’re about to get jobs, free housing, education, loans, grants, transportation, food, clothing…you get the picture.

Meanwhile, we can’t get a damn voting rights bill through Congress.
