It's not just the "inhumanity" of white people. There is a corresponding inability of most white people to see or accept the human-ness of anybody not "white." Even in the academy you'll find white supremacist thought, ideology and practice. Example: Why when discussing "human evolution," mankind's early and intermediate ancestors are apelike. But the closer the scale gets to "modern" man (Cromagnon or even Neandertal), the lighter and finally whiter the figures become. Not-white equals not-human.
