It was just a couple of nights ago (actually about 3:00 a.m.) I was up and looking out my high-rise apartment window. I couldn't sleep cause there were three helicopters hovering above my neighborhood. At first, I thought they were following some "criminal," but they were too high --about 3,000 feet above the ground, and they had no search lights on. They were just hovering.

They did so for over 45 minutes. It occurred to me then that this is what an "occupation" and "isolation" would look like. Because Chicago is so segregated, the cops, the military could easily "cordon off" and lock down both of Chicago's black ghettoes comprising one million people with just a few hundred men/women.
