A few of the commenters there pooh-poohed even the possibility that white supremacy/white racism is anything other than "evil," or an economic-based greed.

I contend that it is all of that and more...but certainly something must be mentally awry in a whole group of people who are unable to see or accept that other people (people who don't look like them) are just as "human" as they are. It (whiteness itself) is a mass psychosis.

Perhaps James Baldwin put it best: "I am only black because you think that you are white"
