Interesting analysis. I submit, tho, that Thomas is just the latest in a long line of black people who have turned their backs on their own people. We could start with the fact that there was never a successful slave revolt or rebellion in this nation for one reason and one reason only: Every time, each and every time, slaves tried to overturn the "slavocracy," there was always at least one slave who, for a few crumbs from “master’s” table, or for some worn-out, threadbare hand-me-down clothing, would "run and tell that." These types have always been amongst us.

Thomas comes from that "tradition."
