As many others have said, Will Smith is dealing with other and more sinister demons than even those who caused him to "act out"....again so very publicly.

I think he needs the kind of "help" that only professional head doctors can provide. And....if his "love" for his wife makes him act like that, he probably needs to think about finding a different wife.

How many thousands of men (of all "races") are locked up tight or dead because their love interest demanded this kind of "proof"?
