I agree that even one hour in the joint is torture.

But in this case, this sentence is less than most sentences handed down to brothers/sisters for "possessing" even small amounts of drugs. As a paralegal in Chicago, I've seen judges issue 20 years for two or three dime bags of crack which were obviously meant for "personal" use; but the defendant was also charged with "delivery."

Chauvin killed a man but yet has a forseeable "out date." Like most murderers, who should never see the light of day again....or if he does, he should be so old that he will not be able to tell the difference between state prison and the prison he finds himself in in his own mind and body --He'd be too old to "function."
