How can we ever forget Trump’s declaration during the campaign: “I love the poorly educated!”?

Like so-called “conservatives” everywhere, Trump’s love of the ignorant and uneducated allows them to maintain (conserve) the status quo — with them always at the top of the pyramid they have created specifically for the purpose of maintaining their political, social, cultural, and especially, economic dominance. An informed, educated and thinking public would never allow the likes of Trump anywhere near the levers of power.

And so, denigration and devolution, indeed outright destruction of “higher education” is Job One of “conservatism.”
