Hoping you are being facetious or rhetorical or even sarcastic. Cummings’ death means little or nothing to Republicans, even those who feigned “friendship” with him when he was alive. On the contrary, they are probably celebrating the fact that one of the more effective voices advocating for impeachment and ouster of their gangster president has now been silenced.

Finally, do you really expect them to do anything about voter suppression, voter fraud or gerrymandering? Hell…that’s the only way they stay in power. If this country were a real democracy, you know, “one man (woman), one vote,” and all votes were properly counted, the GOP would have long ago gone the way of the Dixiecrats, the Reform Party, the Green Party, or better yet, the Whigs.
