Hear! Hear! I agree completely. I still don’t understand what it is with women, especially black women, about their over-weening concern for their hair. I had seven aunts (all gone save one now) who used to spend more money on their hair than almost anything else they owned. They’d even go into serious debt to get their hair “done” or fixed.

As for Jada Smith, I think her baldness makes her absolutely “regal.”
