Excellent point. Not enough attention has been given to the Senate's only "black" Republican Senator who consistently chooses his party over his own people, over his very own constituents. But, we've seen (and had to suffer) his "type" throughout our long and tragic history in this place -- so-called "black" people who choose slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination and degredation, all for "a few more dollars," or a title, or extra crumbs from massa’s table.

Indeed, it’s because of the Tim Scotts of the world today and of history that there was never even one single successful slave rebellion or revolt in this country. Somebody like Scott would always, always, “run and tell that.”
