As an aside (or "sidebar"), I also did not understand how and why the attorneys in this case were allowed to ask leading question after leading question after leading question. Like, for example, "Dr. Expert Witness, you would agree with me that....". Or, Ms. Onlooking Witness, "You didn't really see my client's full knee on Mr. Floyd's neck, but rather on his back, right?"
I just have to guess that that is how the Rules of Criminal Procedure in Minnesota are "promulgated," right?
