Apparently, you did not read my comment very closely. Elliott used the third graders to demonstrate that racism is a taught and learned construct. It is handed down from parent to child on an individual basis, and from various institutions and organizations on a societal (political/social/cultural/economic) level.

The questions Elliott asked were of white adults not children.

But, you need to know that I normally do not “whitesplain” — explain white people to white people. My comment was made only in response to the very intriguing essay written by this author. So…if you are “not onboard” with this, you also need to know that you will not be missed.
