And then there is this....from my own experience. I worked as a criminal and civil litigation paralegal for 35 years in Chicago. In every single white law office I worked in, there were always a much greater number of black females (at all levels --except as attorneys).

The always white male partners and white male office managers seemed to prefer black female employees over and above black males...because in their minds black women presented less of a "threat" to their power than black males.

Also, it must be said, that there were other, more visceral, more "sensitive" reasons black females were preferred and populated these spaces that had little or nothing to do with "work" or their legal skills --if you catch my drift.
