All in all, an "interesting" piece. But I object to the continuing mantra and meme that more or different "training" and education of police (and white people generally) is the answer.
Look, cops don't have to be "trained" to not shoot or brutalize unarmed white people -- or in many cases ARMED white people.
This is about one thing and one thing only: Many, many millions of white people simply do not believe or accept black people as fellow human beings.
You are right, though. This "issue" will never end unless and until people who think that they are "white," and therefore special, end it. I therefore commend your efforts to change the minds, the beliefs, the attitudes and the behavior of your fellow "white" people.
My personal experience and black folks' 401 years of collective experience tells me, though, that you are engaged upon a fool's errand.
It's been said before but bears repeating: This is NOT a black problem but a "white" problem.
